BJ, I’m so sorry you took my compliment/comment on your artwork as intent to copy your work. I assure you that I had no intention of copying anything from your artwork. I wouldn’t want someone to do that from mine either. For the current paintings I’m doing, I sketched out my own compositions for the paintings well before looking at any work on the Fine Art site (including yours).

I recently decided to paint a few underwater scenes and since I'm not a diver, I'm dependent on looking at a lot of non-copywrited photographs, work of other artists, and other references to build my own compositions.
